Consumer Reports Reveals the Best Car Insurance Companies

In the household budget, the usage of car insurance has become more irritating as compared to the past when we had to pay for the insurance policies and the car insurance premium increased from time to time. Still, the services with additional money are nowhere to be found easily. We previously outlined the worst auto insurers based on a Consumer Reports poll. We now focus on the most appreciating car insurance companies. No company in the world received a pass rate of one hundred percent overall scores as high as 72 out of one hundred were received and none of the analyzed companies achieved a score of more than 3 out of 5 for customer satisfaction about premium costs. While it’s impossible to name the absolute best car insurance provider, some of them are undoubtedly better than others.

Consumer Reports, for that matter, administered a survey nationally earlier this year based on information from more than 40,000 policyholders. The survey involved 36 car insurance providers in the industry as per service quality and affordable premiums. Based on the findings, companies on this list obtained a high-performance index in service as well as low affordable monthly premiums. The evaluation included seven key factors, each scored out of five points: Premiums, claims, coverage, policy clarity, help and advice, policy review, and service of coverage.

Here’s what each score represents:

  • Premiums: Levels of satisfaction with the monthly premiums costs.
  • Claims: Happiness with how particular claims are dealt with.
  • Coverage: The degree of coverage satisfaction provided by the availability of these services.
  • Policy Clarity: Policy flexibility and the presentation of detailed policy information along with cost estimates.
  • Help and Advice: The level of satisfaction given with the amount of proactive support and counseling offered.
  • Policy Review: The level of satisfaction over how effectively policies are scrutinized.
  • Service: Customer satisfaction excluding claims management concerns.

However, let me point out that your experience with any given insurer will depend on several factors which include; local weather patterns and traffic conditions, yet these impact your rates heavily.
